Where History Meets Modern Architecture

“A historic building with a modern extension in a surprisingly peaceful location near St. Stephen’s Church, right in the heart of Prague. With breathtaking views, this timeless combination will never go out of style.”

Daniel Vopat, Investment Manager

Na Rybníčku is a 2,400 m² office building nestled in a quiet park in Prague’s New Town. This property beautifully combines a 17th-century historic structure with a contemporary extension designed by architects Oldřich Hájek and Jaroslav Šafer in 2004. ICP acquired the building in 2017 from a private Irish investor.

For many years, the building has served as the Prague headquarters of Instituto Cervantes, the Spanish government’s cultural institution operating worldwide. The institute uses the space for language courses, exhibitions, and a variety of cultural events, as well as a library. “With its exceptional location, long-term tenant, and promising future potential, we view this project as low-risk yet offering an attractive return,” says Daniel Vopat.
